ORU gives back in many ways to the community. The ORU Baseball team has raised over $4,000 for the Vs. Cancer Foundation. This money will help increase research and also support children in the community. From Tulsa World:
Oral Robert baseball raised over four thousand dollars for the Vs. Cancer Foundation. All of the proceeds will be going to help beat Childhood Cancer with 50 percent going to CureSearch and 50 percent staying local at the St. Francis Children’s Hospital Oncology Department.
The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids’ lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts.
