- “The Resurrection of Gavin Stone”
In this movie, a former child TV star pretends to have religious values in order to get a role in a Holiday Pageant. Before he can even realize, his life is transformed by God.
- “The Case for Christ”
This film is based on a true story about the life of Lee Strobel, an atheist. Lee is a journalist who is determined to disprove the newfound Christian faith of his wife.
- “Same Kind of Different as Me”
This is a moving story about an international art dealer. His marriage is struggling and so he ends up befriending a homeless man who helps him save his relationship with his wife and God.
- “Grace Wins”
This film is great if you have any teenage girls in your family. The story follows four high school seniors and the trials and decisions they have to face.
- “An Interview with God”
A struggling journalist feels like his life is falling apart. When he is about to lose all hope he is offered an interview with someone claiming to be God.
- “Redemption Way”
Jenny is struggling after her unsaved father dies a sudden death. Overcome with grief, she is determined to help her childhood friend who is suffering from cancer.
These movies have important lessons to teach, and can offer more insight than other blockbusters playing in the theatre, or streaming on many available mobile apps. Plan a night for your family to gather together with a nice meal and one of these great movies.
